MY STORY
While I was making leather bags for the world’s most prestigious brands, including Burberry and Anya Hindmarch, I spotted a gap in the market for practical, stylish and designer-quality bags at accessible prices. During my MBA in 2012 at London Business School, I was surrounded by bright and inspiring women with active and busy lifestyles. I wanted to create a collection that would carry them from Eurostar to a meeting, from a meeting to an evening invitation and help them feel confident and elegant on all occasions. Combining my passion for designing and developing beautiful bags with trusted supplier relationships in Europe, the brand “Esin Akan” was born in 2012. Since then, our customers, their lifestyles, needs and aspirations have always been at the heart of our designs.
