ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY MATERIALS
A good bag starts with good materials. We use ethically and responsibly sourced calf leather that is cruelty free and a bi-product of the food industry. We supply the leathers from certified tanneries in Turkey and Italy. Unlike many materials used in handbag production, genuine leather dissolves in nature easily and protects our world from harm and excess wastage.
RESPONSIBLE PRODUCTION
Responsible production is at the heart of our brand. We work only with audited and certified factories that provide fair working conditions and a safe working environment for their employees. We appreciate and support the artisanal craftsmanship in the factories we work with, where the techniques of producing luxury leather bags are deeply rooted. Our artisans make the bags of some of the world’s most reputable luxury brands.
ZERO WASTE
We make limited quantities of each style and offer a pre-order option on new bags to react better to what our customer likes and to avoid excess stock. We use leather scraps in small leather goods or donate them to fashion schools. We make bags that are timeless and made to last. We extend the life of the products by offering lifetime repairs to our customers. We help our customers buy less but better products in respect to our world’s resources and children.
SUPPORT CHILDREN IN NEED
When you become a mother, you become a mother to every child. This is how Esin felt when she gave birth to her first and only child. We like to support charities that help children in need. Part of our revenue is donated to Unicef every month. The funds raised are utilised to provide food, shelter, education and a community to children that are in vulnerable conditions across the world.
EMPOWERING WOMEN
We believe that finding gender balance in positions of power, will make the world a better place. This is why we donate to women’s scholarship funds at the London Business School and University of California. We also support charities that cherish women empowerment.
